Founded on December 8, 2000: Spin-off from the Institute for Electronic Systems at the former Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg, ELSYS for short, headed by Prof. Dr. Hans Rauch, as part of the joint research project "Bavarian Competence Network for Mechatronics BKM".

Approval of our participation in the Europe-wide major project "Improve" - Implementing Manufacturing Science Solutions to increase Equipment Productivity and Fab Performance

As part of the endowed professorship for "Automation Technology/Mechatronics" at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Information Technology (efi) at the Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg, iSyst, together with three other companies from the metropolitan region, is financing a professor for a period of five years. Co-founders are Baumüller Nürnberg GmbH, the Nuremberg location of the Automotive Systems Division of Continental AG, and Siemens AG Healthcare Sector.
